Guys. I will be joining TCS as a fresher. What are some tips for me?

Please guide me in terms of selecting projects. What type of projects should I never accept at any cost? I'm eagerly waiting for dev. roles but after reading all these threads, I'm disappointed whether I'll get a dev. role or not. I have knowledge in microservices, Springboot, kafka, docker etc. and also have done some projects in it. I have attended the Prime interview but they demoted me to Ninja. Don't know why- the interview went very well. Also how do I handle these RMGs. I have decided that I won't take up a project unless it interests me. Is that a good thing to do?

Never ever join TCS internal project they will mind wash you with the saying "More job opportunities within few years of joining and no night shift likewise" If someone says like this ask for the project name and make decision accordingly

Ok. I have some doubts. Internal project means? The project is being developed for TCS or something like that? Also, what should I ask the RMG when they allocate a project to me? Would be really helpful if u could reply to these.

They are project who report to TCS and not client.

You mooostly do not have a choice in selecting projects

Oh. I see. But can they force me into accepting projects? How do I handle these RMGs?

After a certain point, yes.

If you are lucky, you may get relevant projects in the initial days.

If you keep saying no to them, then suddenly they will start forcing you to accept any project

The best advice is 'Don't Join'
