Guys i got call from my hr that i didn't visited office from april what is the reason
i dont think so my manager will provide me approval my parents are senior citizen they cant leave home town and i cant afford to rent whole flat in office location what will be the consequences of not visit to office will i lose my job?? Do reply pls Working 12 hrs a day Under paid

I agree with @silent_applause . If you are working hard and doing critical tasks, ask for WFH or tell him to give you release. On question, what would happen - nothing would happen. They cant fire you but it will impact your variable quarterly pay. So in a quarter, if you go for 10% of days to office, you will get only 10% of your variable pay.

I don't think that is true. With exception there should be no cut in variable pay. And if there is no exception and attendance is less than 60% there will be no variable pay (assuming variable pay refers to QVA). This was as per circular about a month back.

His HR called him asking for reason of not coming to office. It means there was no exception otherwise HR would not have called asking for reason
If u are really working 12 hours a day and u are a critical resource ask ur manager for WFH exception.. if he denies tell him to release you..

You can’t quote release reason as WFH and all projects want their associates to work from office. Better switch company who provides WFH.
@PoliteBuzz4 Oh He can ask buddy .. I have seen person getting retained for 2x salary for same work just bcoz he was a critical resource and close to client.. with 100 exception from WFO

There are people who’ve got permanent WFH just because they are critical resource.
