Trending @Wipro; Guys I am on bench now. If I resign , do I need to serve notice period ? Or they will release immediately?

Me also in same situation, no clarity I asked many people in teams most of them they don't know even HR also don't, i want to tell wipro just upgraded their employees knowledge, everyone don't know anything fully and wonder atleast whos know also they don't know , most people does not reply in teams to after reading message

There is no policy that they shall release immediately. But you can try with your HR. You can also ask for 30 days notice as well. HR has the right to release immediately

What is the case if we resigned on a week before or last day on the project. Still 90 days or 45 days? Do we get a salary for the whole 90 days?

Yes, After your resignation is approved your HR will reach out to you if you are not billable and asked you if you want an early release.

Or else after 15-20 Days you can reach out to HR mentioning you want an early release since you are not billable.

It’s possible, brother. I resigned from Wipro in a similar way — I put down my papers around July. I was still billable on the project during July and August. From August 31, I moved to the bench. My HR asked if I wanted an early release. However, I said no because I already had an offer in hand and was also considering other opportunities.

So yes, it’s possible — but it depends on your HR.
