Guys, I am 10 years 2 months experienced in TCS and still I'm yet to get promoted from ITA to next Level. It got delayed due to having visa for Canada and couldn't travel and end up visa got expired . To whom should I approach for promotion

Dont go for pramotion thats a trap in TCS, on C2 grade u can travel to UK europe ..I have so many friends in UK those were having C2 grade

Really ..but after 10 years you must be a manager and evaluating promotions for others

Oh my god .. what’s ur ctc then ?

Ask your manager. Be strong in your technical skills and show/tell them why you shouldn’t be at ITA position. Prove your point, do your work but also show them what you have done. Still if things don’t work out, look for other better opportunities outside.

If u ask for promotion also they will now say it will be in next appraisal which by this time u must now how it will be and if by any chance you will get promoted also what you think your will compensate what you did not get in 10 years your package is too low look for better opportunity

Even with that 7 lpa package yoy wll get very less in onsite as it gets proportion to the indian package and at the end you won't be able to save anything in onsite. Better to get promoted first otherwise leave TCS

Onsite is only open which can compensate everything for you.
