

Guys do we need to inform the manager or just we can drop papers over email looping hr and manager? Will they see the mail ?.
If they don't see mail for 2 days and initiate separation requests after 2 days then will my notice period extend by 2 days ?

The date you send mail is the date started for notice period .. it doesn't matter when ur manager responds .. mail is the proof
