Trending @Cognizant; Guys, can I lodge a complain against my HR and Manager for not promoting me? It's been more than 2.5 yrs and I'm not being promoted.
Good by the way who gave this idea ? Rather than going to court and you feel that you really deserve it why don't you try switching
Will Switch once I have received justified compensation from them, for whatever work they have taken from me.
Lodging a complain is useless, but I get the frustration without promotion getting good hikes outside is difficult as well , Getting promoted then getting outside jobs will fetch us a minimum of 25k extra
Do you really think you can win against corporate lawyers it's impossible, better to save that money.
I can feel you bro I have 3 yoe in Cognizant, even after getting 3 ratings due to internal politics they are not going to nominate me for associate promotion even after getting appreciation from the senior manager.
Every time I ask my hm he tends to give many excuses that in q1 quarter i am not having utilisation that's why I didn't get in q2 , after having all green this quarter also they are not promoting.
This all happened due to my previous hm, I have given all my blood and sweat in the previous project and delivered it in tight deadline handled module separately.But he gave feedback to my new hm like I am a waste dont have the knowledge etc.
Nothing you can do all you need to switch to other organisations.
With 3 rating you are expecting for a promotion, i know people with 5 rating not getting promotion. Try using your head for once and don't get too emotional. If you really wanna get promoted make them know, stop working like u used to do and work according to your pay. If you work like a donkey they will use you like a donkey. It's a fact

Don't do it. Like you there are numerous other PA resources who haven't been promoted yet. Try having a 1on1 discussion with your manager on this. Try to find the gaps as to why this is happening. Or else, switch!
Trust me! Escalating this won't get you anywhere, people I know have tried and suffered.
I don't care about others, they are dumb may be, they don't know to fight against atrocities they are facing. I will fight for my earning that i deserve. It doesn't really matter to me if those are very experienced lawyers or whatever. I am human being I want my rewards of whatever time and effort I have given and i will fight for it.
These mfs are getting more than a lacs a month they think the are having good time. I'm gonna show what good time mean to them.
That's not a very good idea tbh, it will spoil your life only in turn, better try to switch and get a better opportunity if you really have gained the required skills or try to learn and get skilled, do some certifications etc. This might be a challenging task but it will be really worth it.

Yes, I am planning to file a petition in court. Past few years they were giving hikes every 6 months and now they are giving hike that to as low as inflation rates , and giving stupid reason like RTO for not promoting . I mean if I am not eligible and why are they not firing me. Why are they exploiting me?
