I don't know how many of you realized this, but this is actually very good scenario for us (Indians), when our Indian companies like TCS, infosys, etc. lose all their client, do you think they will stop making revenue and the salaries will be stopped for employees?
Not at all, companies like TCS, infosys are global giants, this will bring three situations:
- We will start focusing on Product based companies, that means even service based will start developing something new and creative. They will invest heavily in creative students for new technology.
- Existing U.S, other country clients will find 'backdoor' routes to outsource. That means without letting their govt know, they will still outsource, which will reduce the money going to US/other govts, and I increase the salary of employee/employer at the other end (like service providers)
- Products without service is the worst possible outcome, think from this perspective, you bought a bmw car, and somehow a headlight is not working after 7 months, and there is no one to service, do you think in long term people will purchase?
So in conclusion, no matter what, we will be incurring losses like layoffs in the first 1-2 years and then the dynamics will change drastically and hiring and work will increase significantly.
FYI - Have a look at China, their GDP didn't just grow because of their exports, rather they never take imports much, everything they produce is internally designed and dispatched..
Twitter, google maps doesn't exist in China, they have much much better versions of their own. Don't trust me, just do a google/youtube seatch

Agreed +1

First of all your research skills shows that you will believe anything that is being posted 😂. And your optimism is astounding not knowing the fact that such an event will ever happen. These IT companies want high margins and this will never happen

Not surprised alot of countries are pushing for this. Basically localisation.
The people there are demanding for the same. Outsourcing is actually having impact on their economy.
Ofcourse if Govt pressures companies will have to bear the loss and actually do this. It is happening in Middle East, EU especially Netherlands, Poland, etc.
So yeah pretty soon if we dont have our economy in order we might go under if we depend too much on outsourced jobs.

Itnwont happen dont worry
Who will work on AI and implement AI then 😃😃😃

I don't see post on that handle

This is only for BPO jobs for now but for others it will impact due to AI taking over and also they are bringing in new tax called HIRE which will have more tariff for Indian software exports

He is Trump, he can do anything.....

Not possible. Almost all US company heavily depends upon service based industry. And partnerships is running since almost 20+ yrs.
