Guidance on how to switch
I've been royally scrwd over this year in terms of hike. Even with being in Tier 1 rating (typically given to some 5-6 people out of 30+), I got a measly <2% hike. Yea I know it's amusing, I got <2%. Honestly, it's so humiliating when every single one of my peers not in my org and some others in my org and in the same field is already promoted and/or has >20% higher salaries than me.
I'm Tier 1 B-School, 2.5+ years experience and into core management consulting and PM. I've been trying to switch for a few months now, but I've not gotten a single call or response to a referral.
I'm at a loss. Don't know what to do next. All I know is, I can't stay at this place for any longer.
Please share anything that might be helpful for me, personally or professionally.
Are you applying to roles in line with your profile? Similar profile to yours and same job right now, but have gotten decent responses whenever I am applying. But mostly its been through linkedin, referrals once and that too in a firm which was hiring in big numbers
Did everything. Have a good resume, have numbers that the market finds acceptable, but nothing at all
