Growth role worth joining ?
I am a Tech PM transitioning to Growth.
Why? My belief 👉 Corporate earnings correlate with the revenue you generate.
Growth contributes significantly to revenue 📈, unlike Tech PM, which is primarily a support role.

Well, Tech PM is not a support role. At good companies, you have to crack the tech requirements that gives your product an edge over your competitors.
Growth PM - as vaguely as I know. you should put features into the product that improves revenue/retention, any specific metric. Could involve working hand in hand with Sales/Marketing.
I would say TPM is significantly harder if you are not from tech bg. Better to try GPM.
But wouldn’t as Tech PM you would be building the product which actually is supposed to be grown?
