One area i disagree. Plastic is bad. Check out okd movies, India looks ridiculously clean. Cities, villages all are clean. I remember my village behind cleaner
Today every village and city are a garbage dump. There is wrapper and covers everywhere.

Paper straws suck for sure.
But man, plastic straws can be an absolute menace

Gender decision deserves more praise but people are very cautious there.
