Do employees working in IT sector are eligible for gratuity after 4 years & 190 days (i.e. 4 years and 7 months approx) or need to spend a complete 5 years minimum? Please suggest.

4 yrs+ 190 days is the rule for those who work 5 days/week. So for IT folks it is 4 yrs 6 months approx, not 5 yrs. I can attest to it since our HR had sent Congratulations email after 4.6 yrs!😄
