Gratuity component
Hello I need help in Gratuity calculation formula salary component. In case of gratuity I see they mention basic +dearness allowance(DA) in their calculation formula. But that DA thing exists for govt employees in their salary component. For private like software engineers I don't see the DA part in salary. Basic is there, hrs,lta are there but no DA. Then what should be used for calculation.
15/26XBasic Salary*No.of years , and is only given to employees who have completed minimum 5 years in a private organisations on leaving
So we won't be having any components like DA? It's part of the Calculation but only govt employees have da in salary. What about software engineers
Yes mostly government, public sector undertaking organisations like LIC have DA component.I don't know of any Software Organisations/Non government companies giving DA
