Gratuity clarification
Hi Everyone, If we resigned from the organisation after 4 years 4 months, do we get gratuity during final settlement or 5 years completion required?. Please advice
4 years 7 months or 4 years 190 days of total serving till LWD is required.
My team member put her paper and served NP completing 4 years 204 Days as of her LWD. She did get the gratuity in her FnF.
But recently I have heard some folks telling HR told that they cannot get Gratuity as NP doesnt count which is BS and I dont think its legal. Cause Exp considers NP as working with the org. So it maybe a tactic to discourage people.
But either ways what my Colleague did was irrespective of whether she gets or not she filled the form and gave. She said worse case scenario they reject the form telling oh sorry you are not eligible and she will say "Oops my bad". Nothing to lose. Go for it.

Will basic pay increase from April
How many days should it be after 4 years.. 6 months ?
