Gratuity at 4.7 yrs? Showing in Payslip

I have completed 4.7 yrs in TCS and have 2 months left before my LWD (already resigned). In this month's payslip it is showing the Gratuity amount of Gratuity in earlier months it was not showing. So will I get a Gratuity amount in my Final settlement? I will not be able to complete 5 yrs.

Somewhere I have heard we need only 4 yrs and 240 days (4.66yrs)to receive it, Is this true? Has anyone received it before 5 yrs?

Actually 4y6m are enough. Similarly at 5y6m you'll get for 6 years.

I got it from my previous company with 4.5+ but <5 years exp, thought that have a very generous gratuity policy.

In the context of gratuity, 4 years and 190 days of continuous service is generally considered ok, if the company has a 5-day workweek or if the employee works in a mine or an establishment operating less than 6 days a week. But Graduatiy will be taxable before 5 years of you falls under taxable limit after 5 year tax free.
