Gratuity after serving for 4 years and 8 months

I am planning to switch the orgnization. Will I be eligible for gratuity after serving for 4 years and 8 months? If yes, then what will be the formula? If not, then can I request the HR/Finance team to consider my case?

I read that its 4 yr and 10 months and not 8 months. Could be wrong though
