Trending @Accenture; Gratuity

I received a promotion in June with an increased package of 14.7L.However,according to my payslip,1.65L is marked as gratuity & my in-hand salty is not as expected based on new CTC.

Could someone please explain why the gratuity is included and how it affects my in-hand salary?
