Govt Job (PO officer) to Pvt

A friend of mine is a PO officer in one of govt banks. She has roughly 4-5 years of experience and wants to make a move to the Pvt world .

Anyone has any experiences or similar stories of being able to make this move? How is it now and how did you achieve it if any? What kind of roles ? What prep ?
