Got visited by Nandi (?)

This just happened lol

Was taking a tray of diyas to light in a small temple room right next to our society. Temple was built and is maintained by my family, very small room with shiv ling in the middle (5x5 sqft).

This white bull was waiting right in front of the temple gate. At first he thought my tray had goodies for him, so I went around him and opened the gates to temple to place diyas inside.

He followed me inside , with me backed up in the corner trying to avoid his horns. Didn't want to shoo him away because he was clearly hungry looking for food.

At first I thought it will leave soon because there wasn't food as such around there. But then it suddenly started chomping on the flower mala that was around the shiv ling, I disentangled it from the ling so it was free. Ate it completely along with thread 😂

I then gave it individual flowers that were scattered around the floor and also a piece of prasad that I saw was offered to the shiv ling.

After having a hearty meal it departed.

Hence proved - money and resources spent on places of worship is better utilised by the living. Be it food or money.
