Got visa L1 last September - not yet sent to US

Did I wait for the US to travel along with my wife( L2) or shall I switch the company in this situation?

I have been with TCS for the past 8 years and I got all A bands. I am with 9lpa. Pls suggest.

I am working in a Dev cum support project and now planning to try for a Lead role.
