Got to know, my previous company from where I was put on PIP had layoffs. This feels so surreal. It was one of "better" companies out there.

Gartner has laid off 100 employees from the india office and has laid off a lot of senior folks from the US office.

At one point I feel so happy, feels like I avenged but at the same time I feel bad for the employees who were laid off. One of my work friends was also laid off.

The company had an image of being a really chill place, and it really was at least till this year.

Anyhow, all I can say is that life is unpredictable as anything.
