Got released from the project during the notice period

Hi All ,

I have put my paper on 5th Sept and got my LWD in tcs as 3rd December and also got my joining date as ,8th of December in my new company . I am currently working in a billable project as a billable resource . And my billability was going low for past couple of week due to less workflow at client's end . Since there was less dependency on me in my project, they gave me release from the project effective from 30th of sept .

Do i need to report to the RMG from then ? Will I get any new project for 2 months ? Or they will ask me to get released from TCS earlier than my last working day?

The scenario is - Since my new company is not my city or state, I need to relocate to a new state . And tcs office is close to my home So I am in my hometown and with my family . I need sometime to stay with my family since my father's health is not good . I thought I will work in TCS till my last working day ( 3rd December) (because my supervisor said to me that I need to serve 3 months of notice period) and then make my mind and relocate .

pls suggest!!!

Heyya dont fret. It totally depends on your RMG. If they want to they would allow early release. Which is happening quite often especially now.

Rare cases they allow temporary projects to help out till the project finds a permanent member but its super rare.

If they do allow you to serve full NP then expectation is visiting the office and spending the 9 hours at office. You need to sign in with RMG twice a day.

I think they will release you early but don’t go if they’re not paying you salary till 90days. Since tcs office is near do swipe and take care of your father
