Trending @Wipro; Got released from project without any proper reason
I'd like to share my experience of release from here.
So i started working in a new project in Aug 2024. Its almost been 8 months since I'm working in this project. We are a team of 12 devs , which includes 4 TL's. I'm the junior most developer in the project with the least experience( I've 3 yoe )
I recently got a call from my manager saying that I'm being released due to budget issues. I told him that I'm earning the least salary among all d developers. After which he changed his statement saying that they have considered other parameters as well and they want to continue people who are having more experience and said that performance wise he doesn't have any problem with me.
He also went on to say that his suggestion from my his end that whenever I talk , go for a clarification to anybody in the team , I need to make a habit of sending a mail about my conversation with them , no matter how small the matter might be.
Because apparently , some people in the team feel that I'm asking the same set of questions again and again
Although I know this is not the case , this is what he has heard from people.
I finally understood it's the tls who are giving all this false information to him. Even without helping me they are claiming that they have helped me and I'm repeating my questions.
And I feel that's one of the prime reasons I'm being released from the project
I'm really sad and confused. He is not listening to both the sides of the story. He's blindly believing whatever other people are telling him. I feel really lost. Can someone please suggest what I can do now to tackle this situation.

always keep conversation over the mail !! no formal talks without mails or teams conversation , in that way you can create an evidence

Think from the manager's point of view. He needs to keep the TLs around even if you are right. Tomorrow if a complex issue comes the TLs only will solve.
