Got rejected from Google AGAIN
I just got rejected from Google after the final round :(
I was once rejected back in 2023, but that was after the first technical round. Although it hurt back then too, I knew I hadn’t prepared well. But this time, I was well-prepared. All the rounds went well, and I still received a rejection email. It’s just disheartening when you work so hard for something and still don’t get it.
I’m also not doing well mentally because of my job and my breakup. I feel like I’m constantly annoyed, and that’s not who I am. I’m usually a happy-go-lucky person, but the past few months have been extremely difficult. I have no social life, no one to share how I feel with, and I’m stuck in a job I don’t enjoy. I feel like I’m not moving forward—I’m just stuck.
I’m a firm believer in “what’s written will happen, no matter what you do,” but sometimes it would be nice to know which direction life will take you. Uncertainty eats you up from the inside, and you can’t really say anything to anyone.
I don’t know what I’ll gain from sharing all of this here, but I’m exhausted, and my soul is tired of hunting for jobs.

Imagine the stress of 4 months hard core prep and then getting rejected in a Googlyness round...Sometimes you don't get what you need the most in life...Its called LUCK
I know I may get a chance in future.. But cracking google at my current age would have been a phenomenal achievement in my life.
That’s very disheartening and very true. Jobs are a big game of luck, I have seen people without less talent sitting at big companies and making lakhs.
I understand and same. I know I will get through one day but I don’t think I will get that sense of achievement after a certain age.
What misses you was never meant for you. What’s meant for you will never miss you. Knowing this makes me much less stressed and anxious about life in general.
I know. But it’s really hard to keep yourself motivated when you keep hitting dead end’s despite giving your 100%
