Got recently laid-off and am so confused about the future.

I recently got laid-off from an Analyst role. I have 1.5YOE. Was asking some of my friends for suggestions, they told me now is the good time to switch careers paths from Analytics to Developer since I am somewhat good at coding.

I recently got an offer for a backend developer at a small startup in pondi. But the pay offered is less than what I am currently getting.

I am thinking of being jobless for another two or three months and clearing the SDE interview for a good product company that pays me well. Is it a good path? I need some advice.
