Previously I was informed that I will be moved to PIP but before initiating PIP I was moved to project . Now I'm in project ,but got pip mail,Will it affect me now?

I was not in project for 2 years. But I was in bench code for 40 days till now in past 2 years

If you are not in project for 2 years then they will surely put you in pip. I hope your job level is low.

Yes it will affect you. But will depend on your new manager . Talk to him ask him to set the goals based on current projec.
