Got offer in Wipro 20LPA CTC

Hi all, one of my friend is in mainframes(COBOL JCL db2 vsam etc) and he got opportunity in Wipro with 20LPA in Chennai. He is working in TCS since last 3years. His total experience is 10years. Is it a good package to go?? His current CTC is 14.75LPA Pls suggest

It's not a good package what Wipro is offering if it is outside kolkata. For 10 YOE atleast 24lpa fixed should have been a good offer. Better to resign and use this offer to get more offers.
And if nothing works then revoke the resignation. But 20 LPA is not enough.

I know a friend who got 24lpa fixed for 9 YOE joined TCS in mainframe. So you can do the math. Better to counter!! And use this in getting other offers
