Got my first job.

Got my first job in IT field even though I'm from ECE background and I'm thankful for that. But I'm bit concerned in regards of my career and got into dilemma kind of situation. Should I go with CAT preparation or prepare to switch into my next company? I just want to earn enough to live happily with my 4-person family. Please put ur suggestions down. Thank you.
