Got kicked out after 3 months of honest work as a frontend intern β for standing up for myself π Need your help and referrals π
Hey everyone, Iβm a fresher frontend dev. I just completed a 3-month internship at a startup. Worked hard, delivered on every frontend task (React, Tailwind, responsive UI). A few days ago, I was told Iβd be offered 3.2 LPA full-time.
Today, everything changed.
Out of nowhere, the CEO & CGO called me. They said:
βYou only worked on frontend, what about backend? Do 2 more months of internship. Then maybe weβll think about hiring.β
I was hired for frontend only β it was clear from Day 1. I asked, what if after 2 months you still donβt offer anything?
The CEO got angry and just said:
βExit him. We donβt need him.β
I was kicked out for simply asking a fair question and standing up for myself. No prior discussion. No respect. Just thrown out after 3 months of effort.

Asking these straightforward questions directly to the leadership is often taken in a bad way. U should have been a bit more polite. But this is wrong of them to directly fire you considering that u were hired as a frontend intern. Donβt worry you can still try a lot of freelancing jobs. Thereβs a good market for frontend engineers there.

Maybe that was their plan lol, good riddance
Shouldn't work with such impulsive idiots anyways
