Got Google HR screen round scheduled on a National Holiday

Hello everyone, I applied to an International Growth Consultant position at Google on the careers website through a referral. Post 2 months I got a call from the recruiter. She seemed nice but she scheduled a 30 minute screening on day which is a National Holiday. Is this right thing for the recruiters to do so as she gave the reason the next day “she is too busy”. I am getting second thoughts for the same. Can someone please guide?

It’s going to be a super casual 15-20 min convo. She’ll just walk you through the interview process, nothing much.

Thank you for the confirmation. I am just a bit worried about the entire process. Don’t want to mess this up at all.

Reject it. Why join Google. You need your national holiday.

I am not saying that it is a bad thing. All I thought was that I found it strange for big companies like Google to schedule interviews on holidays considering they value work life balance a lot. That was just a small concern I had. Please I have got this opportunity post 4 years. The companies I interviewed with previously never took interviews on weekends or national holidays hence this is the first time I saw something like this happening.
