Got Deloitte job offer but pending salary negotiation

Hi all! I am currently a data engineer in TCS Noida having 6 yrs of experience. Tech stack: AWS, Informatica, Python, PySpark, SQL etc. I got a job offer from Deloitte Shared Services LLP Delhi for the same profile with a 26% hike. Due to various reasons, and primarily the final CTC being under the average salary, I started a negotiation to increase the hike to 50%.

Current CTC: 11.5 (fixed) + 2 (variable) Since I am in grade C2, I get 100% of my variable guaranteed.

Offered CTC: 14.4 (fixed) Designation: Senior Consultant

Considering the new tax regime, my current tax payout is 0. With the offered CTC, my tax payout would be around 80k, bringing my in hand salary to the same level as my current salary.

From the internet, I found that the min salary for this role would be around 17 LPA.

The recruiter and the candidate engagement team partner said that I can start with the documents submission and bgv in the meantime. I have done document submission and where it asked to submit the accepted offer letter, I uploaded my tcs offer letter, as suggested by them. I haven't started the bgv process yet.

It's been a month now and I haven't heard back from them. I send mail every Wednesday asking for updates, and have been trying calling the recruiter for the past 2 days. But nothing.

What do you guys think I should do now? I was thinking of accepting the current offer letter if they come back and say no to my ask. At least this way I will get into the notice period and look out for other opportunities. But since they haven't replied yet, I don't want to accept it without any sort of discussion.

Please suggest!

UPDATE: Finally got a reply from them yesterday that offer letter will remain same. I have accepted it so that I can atleast come into notice period with a backup option. Wish me luck guys!

You are getting lowballed. I know someone who got a 70% hike when they jumped ship from TCS to Deloitte and their salary was around 9 LPA at TCS and YOE was around 3

Is the market really giving 70% hike now? I understand top individuals will always get such hikes but what's the median hike for 6YOE these days?
