I am from Bangalore. I've recieved an offer from a startup in Mumbai, the company is great and is offering around 4-6LPA for a fresher, currently i am doing my internship under this company but i am unsure if i should convert this to a full time offer, considering the tech scene in Mumbai is dying and not as flourishing as it is in Bangalore.
Part of me wants to go to Mumbai work and get some work experience, and save up some cash. But another part of me wants to decline the offer and look for better opportunities in Bangalore, and yes i don't have anyone depending on me currently
Except saving part, everything else you can get in Mumbai 😅
My main concern is that if I ever want to change jobs in the future, I might struggle a lot just to land a mediocre one. Since Mumbai primarily revolves around finance and treats tech as a secondary priority to support financial operations, working here as a software developer could end up hurting my career. I might eventually have to move back to Bangalore instead.
