Got allocated without discussing
I have been on the bench for the past 20 days. Yesterday, I received an opportunity to join an AI project, which aligns well with my interests and goals. However, on the same day, I was suddenly allocated to another project without any interview or prior discussion.
When I asked my RMG for guidance, I was informed that if a project matches my skillset, they can allocate me without my consent. He also mentioned that someone from the project would contact me, but I have not heard from anyone yet.
I am genuinely interested in the AI project and would really like to pursue this opportunity. Please advise what I can do in this situation.
Same happend with me,When i asked unit RMG they said employee consent is not mandatory.
After that i have send an email HR arranged a one to one meeting with Project manager.After 30 mins discussion he is not ready ro relase 1% also..
Try from your end too.. let's see of your Manager or HR can do something for you

Tell them fu** o** if you haven't given consent and don't want to join.

That's RMG BS. I went through the same but luckily my manager guided me. Raise it to the RMG superior and the current project supervisor via email and tell you have not provided any consent for this. Fight will ensue but they will release or leave then you can reach out to the other project to allocate you immediately.
It is a big fight. It took me 1 month but it was worth it. I got a Project that is lit and I love it.

Say that you are already allocated in that project and those project people called you to meet and have discussion regarding project
Also the allocation is only for 5 days and will end this Sunday. Is there any way they will not extend me ? Is that happened to anyone?
