Trending @Cognizant; Got allocated to a project but not able to understand anything

Hello everyone,

I am working in one of the witch companies, i have worked on java based development in my previous projects, but now they put me in new oracle vbcs based project, i dont have any experience in vbcs (they placed me in the project by saying to the client and my team that i have few yoe in vbcs but i dont know much) now i am not able to understand anything because i have never worked in oracle fusion apps and vbcs before and so not really able to connect the dots, now our entire team is new in the project so i cannot really rely on anyone for much guidance because we dont have anyone who is experienced in vbcs also and they probably knows less than i do.

What to do in this type of situation? FYI I am still a junior guy and only one level above the bottom position in the witch companies, Please advice, we would have to provide support activities in a few days and resolve incidents on vbcs and pl/sql part but i dont know any of the skill that much and knows only basics. It would have been fine if i had some senior guy under whom guidance i would be working but the entire team is new and they also dont know that much to begin with
