
Got 30 lpa fixed from product based. Need advice on retention.
Hi all, I'm getting 30 fix outside and the benefits are also really good. Now here they said we can retain you with max 26 including everything. Should I stay back here. What will be the pros and cons of staying back in the near and long future. Joined as C2. 6+Yoe. Or I should take the new opportunity only. TIA.

First and foremost if you stay now then it will take year long to meet your personal and career goal as TCS is not the same now it’s way different than as it was to be

Don't think about being retained. If the new company, team and project is well established and good, just switch. You'll learn much more which will also help you in long run.

Okay, Thank you for the reply. Yes new company is good and also providing an opportunity to learn Omnisutdio. The only concern I was having whether I should move to Salesforce Industries/Omnisutdio or not as it's no code. And my experience is all in core clouds.

I can’t believe people are still asking a question like this. Promises are just promises, you know how the variable pay is all fucked up here. Jump ship as fast as you can, but before that make sure you get the offer letter from the new company.

Can you please tell me your tech stack details and your work in TCS..I'm asking because TCS doesn't retain a resource paying that much

My own experience, retention means all will be increased in BoB and nothing in basics. It's a scam and I am the sufferer. Just leave TCS. Rest is your decision.

30 fixed is superb tcs won’t provide this much ever.
