I have received two job offers and I'm trying to make the right decision considering both my career growth and personal responsibilities.
Offer 1: Photon
Role: Manual Testing
Package: ₹17 LPA
Location: Very close to home
Work Mode: 5 days Work From Office
Shift: General shift
Offer 2: TCS
Role: Automation Testing
Package: ₹16 LPA
Location: Around 1 hour commute
Work Mode: Flexible with Work From Home option
I'm a mother to an 8-month-old baby, so work-life balance and flexibility are crucial to me at this stage. While Photon offers a slightly higher package and proximity to home, TCS provides flexibility and exposure to automation, which could be better for long-term career growth.
Which one would you choose in my situation — better pay and proximity or flexibility and career advancement in automation?

Any idea how photon works , will there be work pressure?
Tcs is much better Reason: Flexible with WFH and you require in early child days. Automation testing has a better future then manual testing profile which is getting laid in most companies
Ask at Photon about growth opportunities. Mention that you would like to develop skills with automated testing, AI assisted testing, etc. If they let you grow there and take the rest of the team along, you will rise up in the hierarchy pretty quickly.
