Google reached out for Software Engineer role while my profile is of data scientist

Hi, I had a conversation with some outsource guy for google discussing above ML engineer role.

But Now have got a mail for interviews of software engineer-III.

Are they same or I have to call them and let them know. Do not want to get rejected by DSA since I am in beginner for DSA?
