Google PM interview Prep
Just got dinged by Google in Round 1 only. Throughout the interview i felt like what the fuck, and why the fuck am i solving such a problem.
45 minutes went very fast, and couldn’t cover all the aspects of product design.
I need to start prepping during the 6 month cool off period and try again. I don’t think 1 week prep would be enough, so asking for recommendations on best resources available that i should absolutely try and start early.
What was the question? What problem were you asked to solve?
For resources- Try Exponent — they got some really good question and responses repository. Also, if you got money - you can get coached.
What would you design and then design it for a given market. Don’t want to disclose the actual question, but it’s not something unique.
For coaching, what’s the best resource. Don’t want global PM coaches.
What are some good Pm coaching platforms?
Try uplevel your product thinking by Satish Mumareddy. Amazing rigour though the course is pricey.
