Does Google have engineering teams or individual SWEs working out of BKC office in Mumbai?
Anyone aware of any plans for expanding tech presence in Mumbai?

Nope Mumbai has minimal or no engineers
Bangalore and Hyderabad are main engineering centers and Delhi has some.
With that said. In many cases managers will approve for you to have your office in Mumbai. This is not uncommon. Depends on manager/team
There are a few SWEs in Mumbai. Depends if the team you’re planning your join has a business justification to hire in Mumbai. Sometimes the roles is agnostic of location so while it’s not remote, you could still work out if Mumbai if it works for business
No engineering teams in mumbai, and highly doubt you’ll be able to work out of mumbai.
Approaching cliff at Microsoft, so looking out for better opportunities. Aiming Google L5, but do not wish to move to Bangalore.
