Good Companies to Work for?
Back in the day Google used to be the dream company for many - job security, culture, money everything was checked right.
What are similar such companies in India today - that pay well, have good culture, and you do not wake up everyday with the anxiety that you could be laid off.

How is Uber btw from your experience ?
Uber is good in terms of pay and culture, though latter could vary somewhat from org to org. Can’t say how it is outside India, but at least in India there is no risk of sudden layoffs. There are a few perf related separations that may happen from time to time, but those are not layoffs disguised as performance, and managers are not forced to meet a quota.
