Good, bad and ugly

Good 1/ customers get high quality cars from ford, Chevy, Tesla

Bad 1/ our manufacturers aren’t ready to compete with global companies

Ugly 1/ automobile sector employees 19 million people. High unemployment if the flood gates open up

its high time people knew about the shity overpriced tin cans being sold as cars to us.

Hope Trump doesnt give up on the auto tariff. The auto cartel should face the pressure.

sad part is, agri is kept out of discussions. Its also time the greedy farmers feel some heat. Especially the Milk cartel.

US makers can't compete even if they are given subsidy.

actually they can. they do not make shitty small cars. so there is no competition there. But for sedans there are better options. Toyota Camry costs around 30K USD in US. That approx 25L INR. In India it cost 60L. People instead of buying a shitty Mahindra EV can go for camry.

I think this competition will force indian car companies to make better cars and improve customer experience in service centers hopefully

Aur tarrifs are good, if they build here and maintain the same standard , we are good. Literally nobody buys indian cars outside India, it's either german, japanese or American
