Goldsmiths fooling customers
While making ornaments they claim that they have very low making charges of around 400 per gram. They charge price of 24K but use 18k while making ornaments which indirectly compensate for their maming charges. Buying from branded stores or local goldsmiths...What should be good approach?

Ps- Gold jewelers are the most unscrupulous of all types of business. The charge making cost as a % of gold rate. in addition to this they charge wastage as a %. Most branded stores buy from smaller/midsized gold smiths and sell that at their stores.
