Goldman sachs offer negotiation

I recently got laid off and then joined a US based startup for 35L comp (all fixed)

The interview for associate position in GS has been happening from more than a month and i just have the hiring manager round left. So I am expecting an offer

How much can I expect for this level at goldman sachs? Can I quote 45L fixed and negotiate from there? Also is it a good thing to join goldman sachs leaving a well funded US Based series B startup?

Im from a tier 3 univ and only worked in startups so i guess this will also give me a good title on my resume

I Know VPs(tech team) in GS who have 5-7 YoE. Title inflation is too much in i banking. Your expected salary range seems to be almost vp territory.

Yes, I am aware of the titles at goldman sachs. Just wanted to know the salary I can negotiate. Also the team is core engineering - ETO. Do you have any insights about this team?

For 3.7 they will go max 30-32

45L is a good quoting salary, but for an associate you might have to settle for 32-37L.
