I have been investing since 3 years, haven’t sold even 1 penny yet , how bad or good are these numbers
Invested Amount : ₹ 12,53,813 Current Value : ₹ 15,03,773 Profit : ₹ 2,49,959 Profit Percentage: 19.94% Number of stocks - 39 ( !!! )
Although my gains are significant, I have realised it’s not working out for me. So going to sell most of my stocks.
Not working for you as in? And it's 57% over what time period?
3 years, but most stocks that I bought based on the post pandemic YouTuber recommendations. They have all been utterly underperforming except for 1. All the ones I bought and friends suggested are doing much better. I will just double down on 2-3 stocks every year.
Bro thanks for this post, wanted to ask you what are the sectors you invest particularly in and is there any particular thing you look at in the balance sheet that helps you know that this stock is a good bet?
Half the stocks were influencer recommendations during pandemic. Half were friends and family recommendations. Friends and family is actually ensuring the over all portfolio is better looking compared to the influencers. Hence purging and just going to buy 2-3 stocks and put remaining into index.
