Trending @Infosys; Go for Job switch or retain decision?

Actually in my current team, all of my seniors were resigned due to so and so reasons. So currently, I'm the experienced person in my team project wise.

Note: I'm from a B.Sc background, so even though I have 3 years of experience, recently only, I got promoted to System Engineer.

As per job role wise, I'm a low level employee, however for the past 6 months, apart from working on my dev task, also I'm providing KT and mentoring the new joiners(Team leads) for my team.

Currently, i'm looking for a job change, so if I paper, will manager take step to negotiate and retain me with a good hike??, by considering as I'm the critical resource for my team.

There is nothing called as 'Critical Resource'. Everyone is replaceable and hence don't expect any retention hike.

Better look outside.

After completing 2.9 years at Infosys, I got Promotion for the SE role.

Note: for my unit it's slight late. Coz my same doj batch mates in other units got promotion after completing 2.6 years at Infosys.

I was in that position earlier and no they don't get to retain you, if you are in real need of hike then switch.
