Go back you Northies ?? 🥲
I don't understand why Kannadigas (not all) are so insecure and get so offended when we complain about Bangalore even when problems are genuine.
Instead of addressing the issues, they often respond with hostility, telling us North Indians to leave. First of all they have no sense of direction, considering everything above Bangalore as "North."
Additionally, they frequently criticize Northern states for supposedly not providing employment opportunities, showing a lack of understanding of our history and contributions to India.
Throughout history, Northern states have borne the brunt of foreign invasions, playing significant roles in India's independence struggle by myriad number of freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives.
Furthermore their contribution to the Indian army is quite significant.
Communities like Jats, Sikhs, Gorkhas, and Rajputs are known for their unmatched bravery and combat skills, essential for defending against threats like Pakistan and China.
In Indian army also the percentage is more of Northern states and Trust me the guts in jaat, sikhs, gorkhas, rajput can not be matched with anyone else when it comes in fight, guts and bravery. And trust me these are the only communities that can fight Pakistanis and Chineese. If these Northern states are not present you can't even handle Pakistan.
This is just one aspect of Northern States there are many though from religious events, agriculture to cultural.
I don't mean to disparage South Indian states; I have immense respect for their rich culture and substantial contributions to the Indian economy. However, I take issue with the mentality that Northern states are inferior. I've observed that tourists from South India are generally treated with respect in the North, emphasizing the need for mutual understanding and respect among all states. Every state has its own unique contributions and deserves to be respected accordingly.

That’s an unfair thing to say, South Indians face a lot of discrimination in north than North Indian in south. Being a north Indian myself in Bangalore I have seen both. But believe me South Indians specially Kannadigas are far better then any of the part of Indians be it in anything. Yes exceptions are always there everywhere.

Disagree here. South Indians especially Bangalore people have welcomed North Indians always. That’s why we see so many startups and companies having North Indians working there. There are problems in every cities where few people will hate some other community. Even in Mumbai some people hated Biharis few years back. Now there isn’t any hatred today. Same few Delhi people are very rude as seen by South Indians, but not everyone in Delhi is bad right. We all are Indians and should accept this before coming to any conclusions about stereotypes or hatred. I know I ya not easy. Personally I have felt Bengalis to be difficult people to work with ( maybe because I had the worst manager who was Bengali back then), but I don’t disrespect them. I don’t see all of them as bad. So we have to respect as a community even though there might be few people not so good. Be it northies or South Indians, Maharashtrians or Bengalis, majority of them are good towards each other.

Brother that's why I mentioned not all. I respect your thoughts :)

5 days in Bangalore and I've experienced a lot of issues myself. Let's see what happens next. I know Bangalore will surprise me with more scams and a lot of problems in future

your evaluation of north India is perfect and captures the very reason why some people respond with hostility towards north India. The unmatched bravery and guts that you talk about is great against enemies of the country. But when the same aggressiveness is shown towards people of the country. Its irritating. The aggressiveness and the entitlement behavior of certain north Indians is the reason why people are fed up.

there is place and time for everything. The salary i earn might get me into the top 1% in my village, but in the city i struggle to makes ends meet. The bravery and the sacrifice is appreciated but don't expect special treatment everywhere one goes.

Dude, the "no sense of direction" seems personal😂😂😂😂

It is only due to political reasons
If all people start questioning the BBMP and Govt .. it will be difficult for them .
So they have come with a brilliant and tested strategy-‘Divide and Rule ‘
So now the locals don’t question the Govt but put the blame on Outsiders.( for binding add language , insider / outsider , regional factors ).
Most of the locals are welcoming and not insecure.
To add - Few people were not able to buy real estate and now it has got so expensive that they are not able to buy and are no longer welcoming outsiders
