Give a Reason to feel +ve for being in TCS
I understand, here everyone is talking about Negatives in TCS, and most of the topics 50% to 70% of the - ve things we are discussing here were also common in other Organisation's of course remaining 30% to 50% topics applies only to TCS,
However, i am trying bring +ve wibes about TCS and make the new joiners ( both freshers/Laterals) feel they didn't made bad choice by joining here, so that they work here Atleast for 1 year peaceful,

What are the good things in TCS.?
TCS is very very good company for silent quitters who don't have any aspirations in Career just want to survive don't bother about rating/hike & QVA
TCS is good company for fresher who are self motivated/self learner dont bother about project have own aspirations of higher education
TCS is good for who don't have any skill & don't have plan to learn any but want to get salary
If you don't want to grow . Are happy with peanut salary and can say no to all the work assigned....as the above associate said.. please stay here. Also if u are on a higher grade, this organisation is good as u can dump all ur work on one hardworking associate and enjoy ur life here. That's what happens here...a person who is good at work even at a lowered grade is assigned a lot of responsibilities. If u are a skilled employee, one should leave TCS ASAP
Yes in Rajesh Gopinathan era things were going almost fine but became much worse when Kritivasan took the chair
Well, to get that positivity you must tell yourself that you are employed and have an earning. There are several out there who are well qualified and are still struggling to get a job. Be content with what you have and continue your efforts in the right direction. Soon, you will get all that you deserve and have worked hard for. Stay positive...I know it is difficult but not impossible.

Forget about the salary hikes as the current job market and economic situation across the world has taken a downfall but apart from that if you have a little tolerance TCS is an amazing organization. I see big organizations with great people across the globe throwing people away but TCS is at least not doing that openly. If you want to upgrade yourself then TCS is the place to be and if you are really skilled enough then you'll definitely get lot of job offers even in current situation. Key is to learn continously and be relevant. If not convinced yet, please feel free to leave 😂 You don't need to be so attached to any particular organization.
you get a lot of free time and can possibly develop good social bonding with colleagues, as most of them are too incompetent to make a switch hence are going to stay here for a long time. this is one good thing.
Well.. I have been with TCS for 7+years.. With my experience, I can give some +ve things that I felt.
1.Learning Opportunities- there are many sources in TCS if you want to learn
2.Job Security- During interviews there are a lot of people on the bench for many months(almost 2years) and there are a lot of projects within TCS already and several are in the pipeline.
3.Work life balance- Unless you are working with typical Accounts, you get Good work-life balance
4.Good working Environment- Friendly colleagues.
5.QVA- All who belong to C1/C2 are getting 100% QVA which accounts to 60-70% of the TCS' workforce
During these hard times, all the companies are not giving hikes, cutting QVA, laying off the employees etc etc..
This is purely my experience, it may vary person to person but TCS is not that bad company.

It is only good if you are a lateral joiner or experienced, if you are planning for any other business other than the job. Otherwise just switch to any product based company.
@Mr_Stranger0421 if you are trying to bring positive vibes in a demonic organisation like TCS, dude you must be the demon himself. Is this Keerthivasan himself amongst us ??!!!
