Ghosting from HR after clearing interviews
Cleared all the interviews and submitted the necessary documents on last Tuesday. I am yet to get any response from the company till now. HR is not responding. Is this a bad sign?
I got ghosted by the Flipkart HR after 6 rounds of interviews and I see someone from Flipkart asking this!
I was part of a 3 month process myself when they took a final round interview after multiple follow-ups by me, but turns out they had already hired someone else based on the LinkedIn timeline. I too chose to waste his time in the interview, asking him the questions instead.
You were most probably a backup candidate. Nowadays it's a norm to have backup candidates since candidates get multiple offers in their notice period and joining chances are only about 1 in three.
They probably have rolled out an offer to someone else who’s likely preferred before you.. and waiting to hear back from them. If they decline, you’ll likely be reached out. Do keep sending followup emails every 3-5 days… hoping you hear back!
