Trending @Wipro; Getting Underpaid? Going on right track ?
My first company was the Indian Multinational Banking Company (off-roll), where CTC was 150k with no experience as an MIS Executive. Monthly pay was approx. 9k (with PF and all deductions). Worked: 14 months.
My 2nd company was a partnership firm where CTC was 180k for the 1st year, a 13.33% hike for the 2nd year, and CTC was 204k and a 17.65% hike for the 3rd year, and CTC was 240k. Monthly pay was 15k, 17k, and 20k, respectively, for the following years with a hike (no deduction of any type as it was a partnership firm). Worked: 41 months.
My 3rd & current company is Wipro (Joined Jun'24) as MIS Executive with 4.5+ YOE in B1 band with 600k ctc (570k fixed, 30k variable). Monthly pay: approx. 42k.
In 1st Org, used to perform basic Excel formulas, copy and paste work. In 2nd Org, used to perform a little bit of advanced Excel formulas and pivots for reporting. In Curr Org: Doing advanced Excel, making dashboards, pivots, and charts, A little bit of VBA, G Sheets, and Looker Studio.
Currently, I am upskilling myself and targeting to aim for the post of data analyst.(23 year old living in Delhi NCR)
So can anyone suggest whether my pay scale is good or am I getting underpaid? Going at the correct pace? Should I also aim to work at the team-leader level? Looking to switch after learning new skills as a data analyst, is it correct or not? What package could I expect?
Would love to hear responses & learn something new.
