Getting started with AI?

Initially i was of the opening that this AI is just a boom . I thought it will gradually fade up but everyday i am seeing new advancements in the field of AI , companies have started hiring AI Engineers, management is looking for something to say on AI in every team meeting. We all have felt that AI is actually writing good codes, doing code reviews, generating frontend from images,optimizing complex codes etc.

After seeing all these i have changed my opinion. I don't want to be lagging behind . I want to learn AI before its too late but have no idea how to get started? Can someone with experience in AI share his roadmap?
