Getting released
What happens when one gets released from a project?
My current client is letting some position go in the name of cost cutting. I was playing the scrum master type of role, even though I was aligned with the team as a technical project manager.
17 years of total experience, with the last 3 years in TCS. I never had a release from a project in my previous organisation. My rating is B in TCS, and was more or less the same in previous organisations as well.
So what's next for me?
Simple You will be on bench and will get next project after clearing internal evaluations for other accounts
While I don't mind the bench for a few days, I am not sure if it will be having any impact on QVA or anything else. For the moment I was going to the office only to swipe in and doing the rest of the work from home, again i suppose while being billable on a project gives you some control on the WFO nuances.
It will definitely impact yor qva your deployment index will get reduced
You will be in central pool bench and RMG will connect you for your next assignment. Now, they will give project which will be having odc in your city so that you have to go 5days office in a week.
What's next??? Take a chill pill and binge watch Netflix.
